Both units are chartered to Christ Church United Methodist. When he's not participating in Scouting activities, Mark is a freelance writer based in Louisville, Kentucky. In a Scouting career spanning more than a quarter of a century, Mark Ray has participated in the program at almost every level: as a Cub Scout, a Boy Scout, a district executive, and a Scout parent. He has worked on two Wood Badge staffs and three National Jamboree staffs and has served four times on the faculty of the Philmont Training Center.
